Herbicide Application Notice

### NOTICE OF HERBICIDE APPLICATION
Pursuant to Public Act 103-0976, the City of Oregon will be applying pesticides in public rights-of-way.
**WHERE:** Public rights-of-way throughout Oregon, including fence lines, City-owned turfgrass, landscape areas.
**WHEN:** August 20–21, 2026
**TIME:** 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
**PRODUCTS & USES:**
• **Ranger Pro** – Glyphosate; nonselective weed control. Fence lines. **Rate:** 2–3 oz./gal.
• **Dimension 2EW** – Dithiopyr; preemergent weed control. Fence lines. **Rate:** 0.28–0.73 oz./gal.
• **Triad Select** – 2,4-D, MCPA, Dicamba; selective broadleaf control. City-owned turfgrass. **Rate:** 1.1–1.5 oz./1,000 sq. ft.
• **Talak 7.9** – Bifenthrin; insect and mite control. Trees/shrubs. **Rate:** 0.25–0.50 oz./1,000 sq. ft.
• **Treflan 5G** – Trifluralin; preemergent weed control. Landscape beds/containers. **Rate:** 1.8 lbs./acre.
• **Tordon RTU** – Picloram, 2,4-D; woody weed control. Fence lines. **Rate:** Ready-to-use.
• **Flumishield SC** – Flumioxazin; grassy and broadleaf weed control. Right-of-way. **Rate:** 0.25 oz./gal.
Applications will be made according to product labels. Residents should follow all applicable label restrictions following application.
